Extremal Solutions of Differential Inclusions via Baire Category: a Dual Approach
Let F be a continuous multifunction on IR with compact convex values. For any vector w, let F(x) ⊆ F (x) be the subset of points which maximize the inner product with w. Call W the set of all continuous functions w : [0, T ] 7→ IR with the following property: all solutions to the Cauchy problem ẋ(t) ∈ F(x(t)), x(0) = 0, are also solutions to ẋ(t) ∈ extF (x(t)). We prove that W is residual in C(...
متن کاملPeriodic Solutions for Differential Inclusions in R
We consider first order periodic differential inclusions in R . The presence of a subdifferential term incorporates in our framework differential variational inequalities in R . We establish the existence of extremal periodic solutions and we also obtain existence results for the “convex” and “nonconvex”problems.
متن کاملExtremal Positive Solutions For The Distributed Order Fractional Hybrid Differential Equations
In this article, we prove the existence of extremal positive solution for the distributed order fractional hybrid differential equation$$int_{0}^{1}b(q)D^{q}[frac{x(t)}{f(t,x(t))}]dq=g(t,x(t)),$$using a fixed point theorem in the Banach algebras. This proof is given in two cases of the continuous and discontinuous function $g$, under the generalized Lipschitz and Caratheodory conditions.

متن کاملSparse Recovery via Differential Inclusions
In this paper, we recover sparse signals from their noisy linear measurements by solving nonlinear differential inclusions, which we call Bregman ISS and Linearized Bregman ISS. We show that under proper conditions, there exists a bias-free and sign-consistent point on their solution paths, which corresponds to a signal that is the unbiased estimate of the true signal and whose entries have the...
